Case Communications' EMEA division win contract to supply high-speed routers

Linux routers to the Middle East

Following several months of intensive testing, the EMEA Division of Case Communications Limited, a network solution provider and manufacturer based in High Wycombe, has won a contract to supply their range of high-speed Linux routers, running Packet Over SONET and equipped with monitoring cards, to a government in the Middle East.

Faster and cheaper

Case Communications Business development manager Massey Monfared, commented, 'Our customer tested routers from the usual router vendors but found a lot of these organisations just could not run the circuit at wire speed, and were significantly more expensive than the Case routers.'

Increasing brand-awareness

The biggest challenge faced by Case is brand awareness. A lot of organisations simply say, 'We only buy equipment from XYZ,' and use this as an excuse to stick their heads in the sand. If Case are talking to a customer who knows what they are doing and can test the equipment, they rarely loose a deal.
