Router Network Cards

OVERVIEW

Router network cards are used with routers to provide a wide range of network interfaces.

Router network cards come in two physical form factors: PCI 2.0 specification and PCI 2.1 specification cards.

Router LAN cards can provide up to four 10/100 Ethernet ports or two gigabit Ethernet ports (fibre or twisted pair).

Router WAN cards are wide area interface cards designed to fit into the Case Communications range of routers or into computer systems. They support 56K, full and fractional T1/E1, T3/E3, OC3, and OC12 line interfaces.
