Project Management

Case Communications global project management services will provide the customer with a professionally qualified project manager who is an expert in the implementation of complex network solutions.

The project manager will serve as your single point of contact (SPOC) through the implementation.

Onsite dedicated project managers are also an option that can be provided and are approved on a case by case basis.

 

Summary of Services

The activities that a project manager will do are as follows:

  • Customized project plan that could include coordination of scheduling site survey, staging, install (multiple vendors), de-install, and shipping
  • Create a budget plan
  • Supply the project team list
  • Develop project implementation plan and schedule
  • Review and create status reports with customer
  • Work with the customer identified SPOC project owner

Customer must assign their SPOC for the duration of the project.

Project Managers use Microsoft Project to develop their plans as standard. The project manager will supply the customer with the following:

  • Project plan with budget and project team
  • Implementation project plan
  • Status report against plan

At the beginning of the process the project manager will identify with the customer all the activities, milestones and time scales to create an implementation project plan.

Status reports will be issued by the project manager against the agreed upon project plan. Project review can be the means by which any current deviations from original project plans are identified and revised (if needed) on a regular basis.

On completion of the project a review will be held to outline the deliverables against time and cost expectations. Once agreed the project sign off will be delivered in order to provide is the essential closure and measurement of the customer's actual deliverables.
