PIGE 12T 4GB MX-Industrial Gigabit POE+ Ethernet Switch
The Case Communications PIGE 12T 4GB MX is a Gigabit Ethernet switch with 12 x 10/100/1000T ports and 4 x Mini GBIC SFP ports. Of the 12 Ethernet ports 6 are Gigabit PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) ports, and the other 6 are Gigabit PoE (IEEE 802.3af)
The PIGE 12T4GB MX supports X-Ring+ which provides rapid self-healing in under 10ms in the event of a failure, and supports up to 250 switches per ring.
The Case Communications PIGE 12T 4GB-MX supports IEEE 1588v2 hardware which is a precise timing protocol with nano-second-level timing. IEEE 1588v2 is used in automation industries, while PoE+ allows users to connect devices such as CCTV, and 802.11a WiMAX devices directly to the switch.
Mini GBIC
4 x Mini GBIC slots allow the connection of 100 / 1000Mbps Fibre SFP transceivers with DMI (Dynamic Management Interface)
Relay Alarm system
A relay alarm system immediately notifies of power failure / and or port down events.
Events are sent to a pre-define e-mail address

X-Ring+ Technology
The PIGE 12T4GB-MX uses the patent-pending “X-Ring+” feature which provides an auto-recovery-path within 10ms when the primary network path has failed. The ring can be established with up to twenty (250) Industrial Switches.
X-Ring+, Dual homing, allows two independent points out of the ring and Ring Coupling allows up to 99 Rings to be inter-connected. Please click here to read the X-Ring+ White Paper
