Overview

The Case Communications PIGE-16T-4S-G  20 Port Managed PoE Industrial Gigabit Ethernet Switch is a next generation of industrial Ethernet Switches with 16 x Gigabit PoE / PoE+ with the option of PoE++ (IEEE 802.3bt (with bt option)) (60 / 90 Watt) ports.

PIGE-16T-4S-G – Ethernet Switch Performance

The PIGE 16T-4S-G  Gigabit Ethernet switch has a back-plane of 56 Gbps and can pass 29.76 Million packets (64Byte) per second.

PIGE 16T-4S-G Network Resilience

PIGE-16T-4S-G supports STP, RSTP, MSTP and G.8032 network resilience and supports broadcast storm suppression.

Port Management

Port based ingress / egress data rates, Full duplex IEEE 802.3x, Half-Duplex back pressure flow control, Broadcast Storm suppression, Unknown Multicast suppression, unknown unicast suppression.

VLAN Support

The PIGE-16T-4S-G switch supports IEEE 802.1Q  4K VLANs, GVRP and Q-In-Q.

Energy Efficient

The switch supports IEEE 802.3az energy efficient Ethernet. Energy-Efficient Ethernet (EEE) is a set of enhancements to the twisted- pair and backplane standards that reduce power consumption during periods of low data activity. The intention is to reduce power consumption by 50% or more, while retaining full compatibility with existing equipment.
