Case 8256 VPN Concentrator
Overview
The Case Communications 8256 IP Sec VPN Concentrator – has been designed for secure multi-site connectivity applications such as a number of Industrial Routers bringing mission critical and sensitive data back into a central site. Typically the 8256 will be used in industrial automation, smart cities, self-service machines, chain stores and IP surveillance. It can be deployed behind a firewall, or configured as a main Gateway.
LAN and WAN Ports
Featuring 5 x RJ45 Gigabit LAN or WAN Ethernet ports 8256 can load balance over these ports for high bandwidth and reliability. The 8256 also supports port and tagged based VLAN’s.
Up to 200 VPN Tunnels
Support for up to 200 VPN Tunnels allowing the network manager to manage remote sites through the runnels, even devices which have been assigned with private IP Addresses.
IP Sec Technologies
Support for various secure tunneling technologies like , IP Sec, Open VPN, PPTP and L2TP Over IP Sec, GRE
Firewall with SPI and IPS
For enhanced network efficiency
VRRP (Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol)
VRRP is provided for device redundancy for mission critical applications
Management
the 8256 can be managed via a PC with a web browser, via a local console port, via Telnet and a CLI, using SNMPv3 or TR069.
